Reese buys rights to teen murder story
Reese Witherspoon's production company is developing a film based on the book Under the Bridge, a true-crime story about a high school murder. This should ring some bells for Canadian readers - the story chronicles the 1997 murder of Reena Virk in Victoria, BC, and the eight high school students who were charged in the case.
