Grey's star to hit the big screen

Grey's Anatomy actress Katherine Heigl is trading in her hospital scrubs for a role on the big screen as a perennial bridesmaid. Heigl has signed on to star in the romantic comedy 27 Dresses, playing (somewhat obviously) a woman who has played the part of bridesmaid 27 times.
